THE PARAMOUNT THEATER
Center Stage and The Paramount Theater
Center Stage Theatre
is only one of many groups that has used The Paramount Theater as a
performing arts center. CST used Herman Park Center for all its
productions until the group's first production in the Paramount,
Kiss Me Kate, in 1994. CST performed
its musical productions in the theater until it burned in February
2005, shortly after auditions for CST's production of
The Wizard of Oz. The last
production that CST performed in the Paramount was
Guys and Dolls in late 2004. Now that
the Paramount is being reconstructed bigger and better than before, Center Stage
Theatre is looking forward to resuming its use of the theater for productions
for many years to come. CST's first production in the new Paramount was I Love You, You're Perfect,
Now Change, in April, 2008.

How Can I Help The Paramount?
The Paramount Theatre Foundation will gladly accept gifts of any amount
for the reconstruction. You can also purchase a seat, which will have a
permanent engraved marker bearing words of your choice. Imagine the
pleasure you can give someone by donating a seat in their name to honor
them on a special occasion. Memorials to deceased family or friends
would bring lasting note of someone special's memory.
